Dactylorhiza sambucina (L.) Soo

Binomial name: Dactylorhiza sambucina (L.) Soo
Familia: Orchidaceae
Croatian name: Bazgin kaćun
English name: Elder-flowered Orchid

This orchid may be found in the woods and mountain meadows on rich, humus soil. It is a perennial plant, a bulbous geophyte, up to  40 cm high. The stem is short and tubular bearing an inflorescence of yellow or purple flowers.
